Requirements
There are a few criteria’s you must accomplish
before the school will accept you. The first thing the school looks at in your record is your test scores. Test scores play
a major part in the school’s decision to accept or deny you. They look at the ACT Assessment and ACT Writing Test or SAT Reasoning.
You will also need to have taken certain classes
in high school. They require 2 years of History/Social Science, 4 years of English,
3 years of Mathematics, 2 years required, but 4 years
recommended of Laboratory
Science, 2 years required, but 3 years recommended of Language
other than English, 1 year required, but
3 years recommended for Visual and Performing Arts, lastly, 1 year of College Preparatory Electives.

Getting Around
If I was attending UCLA I would not have a car because, well,
it is L.A. (terrible traffic.) I would walk, take a bus, taxi, shuttle, or the subway. All the information you would need
to get around in L.A. is on this web page: Getting Around
There are several hotspots in L.A. There are varieties of clubs, resturants, shopping
centers, the beach, and parks. A popular spot is the beach durring the summer. UCLA is just 5 miles away from it. Also there
are a couple parks that are good places to finish work or just to enjoy the scenery. The closer and bigger park is named
Westwood Park.

There are different varieties of entertainment close to UCLA. There are museums, parks, theaters, beaches, surfing, clubs, shoping
centers, major league sports, and school sports to enjoy. Since UCLA is only 5 miles away from a beach, it gives the students
a plave to have fun or relax in their free time. L.A. may not be the best place to surf, but the people accept it as a fun
activity to do. There are all types of museums, such as, art, sculpture, painting, wire, and many more. UCLA's sport's program
has been rated #1 for years, there are home games that people enjoy immensely. There are also pro sports that have home games. There is the L.A. Lakers basketball team, the Dodgers baseball,
and the Angles baseball team.
The nightlife in L.A. is a bit wild. There is a variety of night clubs, bars, movies, and parties. Fraternity & sorority groups
throw parties that almost everybody is invited to. People go to the clubs as a way to meet new people and just plain out have
fun.

I am glad that i researched and made this sight. I have learnt a
lot about UCLA and L.A. When I started this sight I didn't know what to expect. Well, now I know what the criterias
are for being eligible for UCLA. Also, now my parents know how much it's gonna cost. :) I think it will be a challenge to
graduate from UCLA. I am glad that UCLA has an awesome history in sports. I am not dissapointed in anything about this school.
